About Us – Star Rinjani Trekking
My name is Sardi, my age 26 years I lived in the village of Senaru, exactly at the foot of mount Rinjani, who ascend to mount Rinjani start in front of my house (Traditional Village).
I worked as a Mount Rinjani guide since I was 17 years old, with the purpose of can continue education because of the lack of economic factors family. And I was also one of the inhabitants of this place that still keep the indigenous peoples of the culture in our place, I also know what can and cannot be done during located in mount Rinjani.
I am grateful to the many guests who come to climb mount Rinjani, I have thousands of hiking experience. From these experiences that I know many things about the ascent, or situation during hiking, as a dangerous and not dangerous, when guests need rest and a good place and suitable for rest.
My wife Karni also had experience as a Soft Trekking Guide (panorama walk) introducing the indigenous peoples and cultures in our place to visitors. With the purpose of can help the family in terms of economic and inspire women that were in our place.
Because previously women in the place where we are not allowed to work outside the home and studied. It is now the woman here is trying to work outside the home as the wizard also to be able to support all children to get the education. Therefore in addition to guide my wife also invites children to school not learn with siting a libraries in our place, with the goal of no more children who are illiterate.
We want to Rinjani remains a tourism place is good for visitors, of course clean and become a beautiful and comfortable for visitors. And also to maintain the economy lands around Rinjani, because with the existence of Rinjani economy lands around improved. Because previously lands only works in the rice fields and vineyards as livelihoods.
Hopefully Rinjani remains a tourism place that is clean and more to the front of the more improved, visitors and especially the people around can keep the conservation of nature Rinjani and cleanliness, so that we really can enjoy the existence of Mount Rinjani.
